Our story
Aavasah was the brainchild of Rootu Joshi, an architect by training with a Masters in Engineering and PMP project management credentials to close the gap between how homes look and how homes perform. Too much of residential construction still relies on rules of thumb, vendor defaults, and fragmented handoffs. We built a different model: one team, one vision, one integrated process from concept through completion. By staying boutique in size, we stay hands on. You get direct access to the people designing, engineering, and building your home, with the kind of personal attention and problem solving that ultra custom work demands.

A global lens, rooted in Texas
Our team has experience building in the Pacific Northwest and Texas, and we have traveled widely, studying residential design and construction approaches across Scandinavia, the Far East, and Australia. We bring those lessons home to Austin through a Texas sensibility: warm materials, honest detailing, and a deep respect for site and climate.
